- ➤ The Utes hired Orem native Kevin McGiven, who led the Aggies' offense, as their new offensive coordinator. He brings 25 years of coaching experience and will build on Utah football's tradition under head coach Morgan Scalley. KJZZ
- ➤ Utah men's basketball lost to top-ranked Arizona 97-78 on Saturday, Jan. 3 in Salt Lake City. The Utes scored the first basket but were outplayed, and they will face Colorado on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. KJZZ
