- ➤ A drone flying over a LifeFlight helicopter on Thursday delayed transport of a critically ill child from Primary Children's Hospital in Utah County—officials warned that flying drones near aircraft poses serious safety risks and can lead to fines. KUTV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A cold front swept through Utah today, overturning an inversion and leaving the air cleaner over the Wasatch Front. Air quality will improve through Monday, though colder temperatures and a return of haze are forecast for later in the week. KUTV
- ➤ Rep. Doug Welton sponsored a bill to designate Goshen Bay as a waterfowl management area, protecting the Utah Lake Wetland Preserve and enabling $2.5 million in federal funds for recreation improvements.
