- ➤ On Friday, Apr. 3, officials submitted a $1 billion funding request to restore Great Salt Lake after record low water levels raised concerns over toxic dust + ecosystem health. Governor Spencer Cox said the plan will accelerate water flows to fill the lake and protect its environmental and economic benefits. KUTV
- ➤ The U-S Drought Monitor reported that over half of Utah is in extreme drought due to a warm March that melted most of the snowpack & the eastern edge of Uintah County now faces an exceptional drought while upcoming spring storms may provide relief. Mid Utah Radio
