- ➤ A law passed this year will ban additives such as potassium bromate, propylparaben, and several FD&C dyes from school meals starting May 7. The new rules let parents send foods with these additives and allow their sale in vending machines and at school events. FOX 13

Kennedy, the U.S. Health Secretary, will speak in Salt Lake City today about Utah's new fluoride ban, SNAP benefits and a bill on school food dyes — House Speaker Mike Schultz and Majority Whip Karianne Lisonbee will join him, with the fluoride ban set to take effect in May. - ➤ U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Monday he planned to tell the CDC to stop recommending fluoride in drinking water and will form a task force to study the issue.
