ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Statewide, gas prices have risen above $4.20 per gallon as reported by Triple-A, with Rich County reaching $4.50 (the highest) and Juab County at $4.15 while Salt Lake County averages $4.18. Mid Utah Radio
- ➤ Utah remains the nation's top-ranked state for economic outlook for the 19th year in a row, according to the Rich States, Poor States index that measures tax policies, government spending and growth, with Chief Economist Phil Dean noting high household incomes, low poverty rates and job prospects amid affordability challenges.
