- ➤ A local family is asking for help finding a 15-year-old girl who reportedly ran away after being dropped off for school in American Fork on April 21 when security footage showed her boarding a train toward Provo & she had a phone & iPad, while South Jordan police investigate the case. ABC4

- ➤ A WalletHub study released Wednesday shows that Utah homeowners spend over 30% of their median income on housing—averaging $2,424 a month—and rank sixth for mortgage payments while Utah renters rank 44th, spending about 22.7% of their income on rent. The report shows that high inflation and rising costs are pressuring household budgets. ABC4

- ➤ Judge Laura Scott ruled on Wednesday that Utah's Fits All program will keep running pending appeals — parents can still apply for an $8,000 voucher and teachers may receive their salary boosts — after critics argued it takes funds from public schools. FOX 13
- ➤ Carlos Trujillo, a long-time U.S. citizen and immigration attorney, received an email from the Department of Homeland Security on April 11 telling him to self-deport because his parole had ended, even though he was not part of the CHVN program (which was meant for temporary migrants).
