- ➤ An Orem man named Eric Nathantiel Whitaker was charged with 75 first-degree felony counts for manufacturing or possessing a weapon of mass destruction after officers found dozens of explosive devices in his home—he was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, April 29 at 3 p.m. and is held without bail pending a pretrial hearing. - ➤ UDOT will widen Geneva Road south of University Parkway in Orem—adding an extra lane in each direction, a center turn lane, sidewalks, and bike lanes as part of a $34 million project.
