- ➤ United Angels Foundation connects families of special needs children & helps over 2,500 Utah households at every stage since it was started nearly two decades ago. The nonprofit received a donation from Mountain America Credit Union to continue funding its vital support programs. KUTV

- ➤ The Rooftop Concert Series will return to downtown Provo on May 15 with five concerts planned through September at Nu Skin Plaza on Center Street and 100 West — Utah-based bands I Don't Know How But They Found Me, Sego and Pinguin Mofex will open the event. Daily Herald
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Utah have risen with an average of $4.28 per gallon for self-serve regular fuel, up nine cents from last week. Prices differ by county (Piute at $4.55 and Wasatch at $4.19), according to Triple-A. Mid Utah Radio
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Hadley Davis, her mom Melissa and grandmother Diana Flygare will graduate from UVU this week (largest ever class), marking a unique family milestone. Hadley earns a psychology degree, Melissa a public health degree and Diana completes her psychology degree after nearly 40 years of study. FOX 13

- ➤ State officials say the Great Salt Lake reached its seasonal high earlier this month at 4,192.6 ft (a foot below last year’s peak) after Utah’s warm winter, and it will soon drop as evaporation exceeds inflow amid severe drought conditions. Daily Herald
