  • Utah parents Steven and Sarah Erb turned their love for their blind daughter Maeve into a mission to create accessible board games using tactile design and 3D printing. They launched their business two years ago and will attend the National Federation of the Blind National Convention in New Orleans next month to showcase their work.  ABC4

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A motorcycle hit the back of a car near Redwood Road + Cold Spring Drive around 3:40 p.m. Saturday and injured three people, with the rider airlifted to the hospital as reported by Lehi police.  FOX 13

CRIME NEWS

  • Mercedesa Kvec, 22, and Sergiu Kvec, 23, were arrested on April 1 on suspicion of quick change theft for stealing over $12,000 from multiple Target stores across Utah Valley—both remain in custody at Utah County Jail.  KUTV

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine held its graduation ceremony on May 3 at the UCCU Center in Orem where 71 first medical graduates received their doctorates. Utah Sen. John Curtis and Dr. Richard P. Nielsen were honored for their contributions (the school now enrolls 577 students).  Daily Herald
