Good morning, Orem.

Elaine Hatch, the widow of former senator Orrin Hatch, died Saturday at 91 as announced by the Hatch Foundation—she was described as the quiet strength behind decades of public service.

She met her husband at Brigham Young University, was married for 65 years, and is survived by six children, 23 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.

The new Lego store at University Place in Orem opened on May 9 and drew hundreds including Mayor David Young, with customers placing blocks on a giant mural and joining a ribbon-cutting event—promotions will run through Saturday offering a tote bag with purchases over $50—.
