- ➤ A driver on southbound I-15 near Pleasant Grove lost focus to pick up gum and crashed into heavy traffic, causing a five-vehicle collision that critically injured one person — blocking the right three lanes during the morning commute. KUTV
- ➤ All southbound lanes on I-15 were closed Tuesday in Payson after a fatal crash occurred just after the Main Street interchange at about 4:50 p.m.—the incident caused a backup of traffic for at least seven miles into Spanish Fork with officials noting delays for northbound vehicles. KJZZ

- ➤ Samuel Mitchell, 41 from Herriman is being investigated after exchanging Discord messages with missing 15-year-old Alisa Petrov before she disappeared on April 21 — police found alarming sexual conversations and deleted messages on her phone, and no charges have been filed yet. ABC4
- ➤ Lehi police arrested 24-year-old Paralympic skier Gilbert Camacho on felony child abuse charges after he allegedly arranged a meeting with a woman he believed to be the mother of a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old during an undercover chat—he said he planned to use candy to gain the children's trust while claiming his disability would keep him from harming them. - ➤ An Orem woman was arrested after allegedly blocking a driver on May 23rd, which caused significant traffic backup and led police to find a 4-year-old child unrestrained in her car—she faces charges of felony reckless endangerment, unlawful detention and a child restraint device violation—and she is now held in jail with bail set at $12,500.
