Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 14th of June.
Good morning, Orem.
📰 Finance
A WalletHub study found that Utahns spend about 0.3% of their income on fast food, tying them for 47th in the nation with Connecticut—only New Jersey and Massachusetts spend less.
Rising fast food prices have made eating out a luxury in other states—while high local incomes help keep Utah's costs low.
🏛️ Government
Camp Williams officials say warmer weather has led to more trespassers on the active military base, raising safety concerns for both the uninvited visitors and soldiers in training.
The base reported several incidents in the past month—including a 12-year-old on an electronic scooter—and urged local residents to keep away from the installation.
