- ➤ Fire crews contained a wildfire in Spanish Fork River Bottoms on Monday that burned 0.75 acres while two fires in Saratoga Springs burned 30 and 37.5 acres on Sunday, with the larger fire ignited by target shooting. State officials warned residents to heed fire restrictions and be extra cautious amid dry heat—fire risks remain high in many parts of Utah County. Daily Herald
- ➤ On Monday, the Hancock Ranch Fire started southwest of Goshen near the Juab County border and threatened livestock and several structures while burning 10 acres.
