Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 5th of July.
Good morning, Orem.
🎭 Culture
Today, the Colonial Heritage Festival at Scera Park in Orem brings colonial history to life with reenactments, games and live cannon firings from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.—allowing visitors to experience aspects of the Revolutionary Era.
🏥 Health
Records show that lost pet reports increased 30 to 60 percent during past Fourth of July events, and experts say fireworks and parade noise frightened pets.
They advise owners to keep pets indoors in a quiet room with background noise — like TV or music — to ease stress during upcoming festivities.
