- ➤ A 67-year-old woman was arrested by the Orem Police Department on Thursday for alleged prostitution and illegal massage practices at a local hotel — she was found with related paraphernalia and thousands of dollars in cash — and the case is under investigation. KUTV

- ➤ Governor Cox said during his press conference that after Utah County voted on Wednesday to join the 287(g) program, local law enforcement began coordinating with ICE to formalize immigration processing while ensuring the law is followed and racial profiling is not tolerated. He noted that ICE operations have generally been handled well, though some mistakes occurred and increased immigration strained resources for agriculture and university education—prompting needed policy changes.
