A group of mostly Chinese investors who used the EB-5 program to help fund Powder Mountain sued Reed Hastings for $75.9 million—claiming the resort's owners owe the money plus interest based on a sealed Manhattan Supreme Court filing.
Hastings said he hopes to settle the matter as Powder Mountain plans further upgrades, including a new private lift for the upcoming season.

Gas prices in Utah remain high this summer with the average cost at about $3.37 per gallon, and diesel is nearly up $.29 per gallon—adding to local drivers' challenges.
