- ➤ Forecasts from OpenSnow indicate that Utah’s 2025-26 ski season will see below-average snowfall and warmer temperatures as weak La Niña conditions are expected to fall short of the state's 547-inch average—meteorologist Alan Smith noted that even a lighter winter in the Wasatch can still mean deep snow compared to other regions.
