- ➤ On Saturday morning, veterans and a local business at Ready Gunner shooting range in Orem showed how to retire a damaged American flag after it was torn by a windstorm—urging proper care for the national symbol. Quartermaster Kelly Kirkpatrick of American Legion Post 72 and Cody Snyder of Ready Gunner advised people to drop off flags at military offices instead of throwing them away. FOX 13
- ➤ Jennifer Lambert of Highland closed her Highland Run Club after eight summers when the 2025 season ended on Aug. 1 with over $10,000 raised for Thanksgiving Heroes; she said a new version may start next year as she focuses on family priorities—her son is set for international soccer trials.
