- ➤ On August 29th, the Utah Legislature asked the Third District Court to pause its ruling on new congressional maps so that current districts can remain in use while lawmakers work on a new plan. The legislative leaders argued that a 30-day deadline does not allow enough time for meaningful public input—raising concerns about maintaining orderly elections. KUTV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Today, the CDC issued a food safety alert after recalled eggs from Country Eggs were linked to Salmonella infections in Utah and 13 other states—95 people became sick with 18 hospitalized and no deaths reported.
