- ➤ Utah violinist John Shin was released from ICE custody on Thursday after his family raised a $25,000 bond—his attorney said he left a Colorado detention center hours before flying home despite ICE alleging he posed a public danger due to past vehicle citations including a 2020 impaired driving conviction. - ➤ Matthew Dains died in Springville after he pushed his wife out of the path of a swerving truck driven by the alleged drunk Travis McIntyre—officers confirmed that while his wife remained unharmed, McIntyre now faces multiple charges. KUTV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rio Tinto Kennecott plans to push the mine’s walls 1,000 feet north to run the Bingham Canyon Mine for an extra decade, extending operations beyond the current schedule.
