- ➤ Utah violinist John Shin told reporters on Friday that he was detained by ICE on Aug 18 during a work trip in Colorado—he said being handcuffed made him feel like a criminal and that support from his wife and attorney gave him hope after his release. His attorney said Shin is now appealing his case after losing DACA eligibility from an earlier impaired driving charge as he fights to secure his green card and remain in the country he calls home.
