CULTURE NEWS

  • Historian James D’Arc said Robert Redford left a lasting mark on Utah with his films and support for local movie locations—his work helped create a film renaissance that reached Orem and the Provo Canyon. His legacy is seen in his collection of about 4,000 movie titles, which shows that over 1,250 movies have been made in Utah since 1913.  FOX 13

  • Renewable energy advocates filed a request with the state Public Service Commission to speed up the approval of large solar projects before federal tax credits expire—an effort that could save ratepayers billions and support the governor’s energy goals.
