GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Utah Department of Transportation released the Utah Trail Network master plan last week to connect 208 towns with 2,600 miles of new paved trails and 500 miles of existing routes — 95% of Utahns will live within one mile of these paths. The plan includes gap closure trails in Orem to link current and proposed routes while experts say visionary projects like the 25.3-mile Spanish Fork-to-Helper trail will need further studies and funding.
