- ➤ A Pleasant Grove High School student was hit in the crosswalk at approximately 7:40 a.m. on Thursday and taken to the hospital (stable condition) as local police increase patrols (using a new speed trailer) to reduce pedestrian accidents. KUTV

- ➤ The Orem Tigers claimed the 5A state title with a 42-7 win over the Springville Red Devils—marking their tenth championship as standout Aisa Galea'i scored on offense, defense, and special teams. The game at Rice-Eccles Stadium was part of the 2025 UHSAA Football Championships that brought top high school teams together across Utah. FOX 13
- ➤ No. 9 BYU defeated No. 23 Wisconsin 98-70 on Friday as Richie Saunders scored 26 points and made five 3-pointers, AJ Dybantsa added 18 points, and Rob Wright III recorded 11 assists+ the Cougars earned their first win over a ranked opponent this season. KUTV
