- ➤ A small aircraft carrying four made an emergency landing at Provo Airport Monday just before 3 p.m., triggering a runway closure for several hours—firefighters extinguished a fire, one person was taken to Utah Valley Hospital, and several flights were delayed. Daily Herald

- ➤ Innerbody ranked Utah as the second-most festive state using Google Trends data from searches such as Christmas Lights and Gingerbread House—West Virginia ranked first. This marks the second straight year Utah earned the silver ranking. FOX 13

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Two environmental groups, Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment (UPE) and Utah Rivers Council, released a report warning that toxic dust from the Great Salt Lake poses a public health risk and could cost billions in cleanup if stronger action is not taken.
