  • New Lending Tree data ranks Utah as the third worst state for drivers — it shows Utah drivers had the second highest rate of speeding-related incidents compared with New Jersey and North Dakota while also measuring accidents, DUIs and other moving violations.  Mid Utah Radio

SPORTS NEWS

  • BYU head coach Kalani Sitake informed Penn State he will remain with BYU after reports that the Nittany Lions targeted him for their head coaching job — the Cougars are negotiating a lucrative contract to keep him as they prepare for Saturday's Big 12 Championship game against Texas Tech.  KUTV
  • Tuesday night's College Football Playoff rankings placed BYU at No. 11—while Utah fell to No. 15 and both teams remained out of playoff contention. If BYU wins the Big 12 championship game in a rematch against Texas Tech, they could secure a playoff spot.  KUTV
