- ➤ New Lending Tree data ranks Utah as the third worst state for drivers — it shows Utah drivers had the second highest rate of speeding-related incidents compared with New Jersey and North Dakota while also measuring accidents, DUIs and other moving violations. Mid Utah Radio

- ➤ BYU head coach Kalani Sitake informed Penn State he will remain with BYU after reports that the Nittany Lions targeted him for their head coaching job — the Cougars are negotiating a lucrative contract to keep him as they prepare for Saturday's Big 12 Championship game against Texas Tech. KUTV
