GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Officials from the Utah Division for Consumer Protection warned that scammers are using AI to mimic relatives and call older adults with fake emergencies ahead of the holidays, and they urged residents to verify any unexpected requests by contacting family members directly. FOX 13
- ➤ Data from the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute (covering Utah’s growth) show that Utah’s population reached over 3.55 million between July 2024 and July 2025, with Utah County adding nearly 16,000 residents while growth slowed from 1.5% to 1.3%. KUTV
