ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands released a digital map that shows wildfire risk areas (Wildland Urban Interface) near homes. A law passed this year guides efforts to reduce fire dangers, and the free map is available on their website. Mid Utah Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Utah Department of Commerce offered WISER consumer scam tips today to help residents spot red flags, research offers, set boundaries and review contract terms (a guide available on the Division of Consumer Protection website). FOX 13
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Health officials reported six new measles cases were confirmed on Monday morning among patients under 18. The county now has 10 cases, and residents are urged to take simple steps, like staying home when ill + calling ahead for care, to help limit spread during the busy holiday season. KUTV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Notre Dame will return to Provo in 2026 to face BYU at LaVell Edwards Stadium, marking their first visit in over 20 years, while BYU will travel to South Bend in 2027. BYU athletic director (Brian Santiago) said detailed game schedules will be announced later. KUTV
