Miracle on 34th Street follows Kris Kringle, a kindly old man hired to play Santa Claus at Macy’s in New York City. When he insists that he is the real Santa, many people dismiss him as deluded but his warmth and generosity begin to change the lives of those around him.

Kris becomes especially important to Susan, the young daughter of Macy’s employee Doris. Raised to be practical and skeptical, Susan is unsure whether to believe in Santa or in the possibility of miracles. When Kris’s identity is challenged in court, his supporters must prove that he is who he says he is. The play celebrates faith, kindness, and the idea that believing in something can make a meaningful difference.
